Triumph Tiger Explorer Mileage

The Explorer by any measure is a big and powerful adventure bike which is not for the fuel savers. It is claimed to average 17-18 km per litre which is decent for its category but not entirely attractive. This implies the 16.65 litre tank will allow the rider to safely drive up to 240 km without refilling. It saves up hugely on maintenance cost by allowing huge gaps between services, thus the running costs are balanced out for such a huge machine.

Triumph Tiger explorer is a dual-sport motorcycle launched by Triumph in 2012. It's a powerful adventure touring bike with a torque loaded meaty engine and host of features which make it perfect for those long trips on unknown terrains, exploring the globe and unending road trips. It carries some high performing equipment's including ABS, traction control, cruise control and Triumph three cylinder engine which make it both dependable and smooth. It carries a rugged, chunky and tough look which is made attractive by some subtle design touches and detailing. It is a high quality, carefully designed product purely for the love of adventure.
This bike give a perfect drive running down a heavy traffic road but its real show is on the long open roads. It pulls very strongly, even from low speeds in a high gear, although the light-action throttle requires a delicate hand in the wet. This is where the traction control comes into play, although you won't feel it on even surfaces.Traction control offers three positions, including the most intrusive (allowing essentially zero wheel spin), slightly less intrusive and an 'off' position. But the engine is the real hero. This bike make long rides easy, smooth and less tiresome. The fuel injection is controlled by a ride-by-wire throttle system using computer control to give you the torque you need in the most efficient, predictable way. The lashings of power and torque make u zoom to 140 mph in just a few seconds. The ergonomics are immediately appreciated with adjustable and comfortable seating, adjustable handle bar, side luggage rack, comprehensive on-board computer with air temperature/ice warning, fuel consumption, fuel range, a gear indicator and average speed displays all as standard.
